Nembrini Audio Overdrive Special Guitar Amplifier plugin is based on a schematic of the Overdrive Special By Dumble #124.
The Nembrini Audio Overdrive Special offers a dual-channel amplifier, comprising a clean channel and an overdrive channel.
The overdrive channel is characterized by cascading from the initial channel into at least one additional gain stage in the overdrive section, leading to the clean channel's tone stack and gain stages transitioning into the overdrive channel's gain stage, resulting in an overdriven effect.
Featuring a 3-band equalizer and a single volume control for both channels, each channel is equipped with its own gain control.
The interaction between the gain controls LEVEL and RATIO when engaging the overdrive channel produces harmonically changing gain.
The Overdrive Special guitar amplifier plugin comes with a comprehensive recording chain emulation and a custom-designed noise gate circuit.
It operates as a standalone app, an AudioUnit v3 effect, or an Inter-App Audio effect.
